Arriving Home Inc. exists to support Catholic Education through housing assistance for full-time teachers currently in Roman Catholic elementary and secondary schools located in Broward County, Florida.

Building on the vision of Father Vincent T. Kelly to support Catholic education through housing assistance for full-time teachers currently teaching in Roman Catholic schools in Broward County, Arriving Home (and its predecessor organizations) began acquiring land in Broward County in the 1990s to build affordable housing for Catholic school teachers.
As decent housing in Broward County became less and less affordable for Catholic school teachers in Broward County, Arriving Home launched efforts to design, fund and build subsidized rental housing in
2021.

With the generous assistance of Anthony Abbate and the Florida Atlantic University architecture department, a design competition was initiated which produced multiple design alternatives for the housing envisioned by Father Kelly. With his blessing of those designs, Arriving Home began a fundraising campaign to raise the approximately $6 million needed to begin construction. While those fundraising efforts are underway, Arriving Home is working to provide rent assistance for teachers in existing rental units throughout Broward County.
